Sauron's the name! (Character BIO for 9/15)

 Sauron here signing on.

Now if you’re new here, make sure you remember it. Honestly, I should be telling you just to look me up, but with everything going on this will be quicker. And remember, I’m using my precious time I could be spending on something more sinister to communicate this to you. Better pay attention.

Sauron has a certain ring to it doesn’t it?

We may all be servants under Melkor, but I’m more wicked, crueler, and overall just better than you. Helloooooo I’m actually lieutenant. Now if you can’t imagine me literally rolling my eyes again at having to introduce myself to more people, start doing so. I know we always need more people for the cause, but new people means a lot of work. And quite frankly, I don’t care about you. All I care about is if you're going to support the cause. And you know why? Because like I just said I’m lieutenant.

Okay so we all know Melkor is the OG, but next in his shadow was me. I was right there.  And you know what? Being this cruel is a lot of fun. I mean who doesn’t want to spread evil to everything and get out from this stronghold. Ugh the stronghold. Oh my this really does bring back memories. The Valar really tried to find everything, but they never could. It almost makes me feel bad for them. (Not actually). And they tried to find me too, but we were sooo far under the fortresses of Angband and Utumno. I can’t even begin to explain how many flights of stairs and random amazing, creepy passageways it took to get to my quarters. It’s no wonder they couldn’t find me. And it's okay because everything evil stood by waiting and biding our time. We knew that there would be another time for us to be more evil and really show them what's what.

Honestly, I’m just so excited for this new chapter to begin.

Signing off,

Stay cruel and evil,

Your’s truly,

Sauron

  1. Sauron, your arrogance is as loud as your words. You call cruelty a strength, but from long years I have seen how such power always crumbles in the end. While you boast of shadows and hidden halls, we Elves look to the stars, which no darkness can reach. You may serve Melkor and think yourself mighty, but know this, the Free Peoples will stand against you, stubborn in our own ways, and our endurance has outlasted many shadows before.

  2. This is fantastic! I really love the way you wrote Sauron's voice in this. Not only is it comedic, but you also capture what his goals are. You show his evil nature in the same way a high school mean girl shows hers, and that is amazing. Great work!

  3. I really liked how you wrote this!! It was great to see Sauron's perspective and how he would truly enjoy being evil. It also was very cool to hear how Sauron would sound and act. This gave a lot of great background information and was so fun to read!!
